Collecting a Lil Residue From the Resurrection

Dear Reader,

Let's face the facts. Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the virgin-born, long awaited Messiah, Christ, Deliverer and only begotten Son of God, the Word made flesh that resided with mankind, the sinless Teacher and Preacher of Righteousness, was crucified, died, was buried, then resurrected by God according to the Scriptures. Having made many post-resurrection appearances, and being seen of many, He has unquestionably proved that He IS both Savior and Lord of all creatures and creation.

Let the doubter and unbeliever prove otherwise. Let anyone who endeavors to refute the Truth of the Holy Bible, first create his/her own world without use of anything that now exists. Such a creative act will no doubt add credibility to the arguement and premise of such assertion that the biblical record is in error. Jesus created the heavens and the earth, then entered the world He created and proved His authenticity. Amen.

Now in the aftermath of the resurrection of Christ Jesus, here is a residual Word of Truth liberally deposited in the Easter/Christian message. Through the work of Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit, God has deposited in His Word and the world He created, residual post-resurrection residue in sufficient quanities to duplicate and replinish in belivers of all ages the same saving faith in Christ Jesus that saved and sustained the gospel message in every generation since He was crucified at Calvary.

By the grace of God, provisions are available to transform every seeker of Truth into an informed, reliable believer in Christ. You too can convert from skepticism to a spiritual skylark, a herald of truth and proclaimer of the Word of God. Think of this way, get clean, lean, and mean.

Get clean. Ask the Lord to forgive your faults, failures and follies, and create in you a clean heart/mind. Ask God to save you and to help you stop doing and saying things that you know are wrong, insulting and hurtful. Begin reading the Bible and listen to God.

Get lean. Ask the Lord to help you let go of emotional baggage and vindictive thoughts. Let Him help you make decisions that are right--not according to your own feelings, but according to His Word, the Holy Bible. Learn to lean on the Lord for help. God likes that.

Get mean. Ask the Lord to help you resist the devil and his temptations. The Bible teaches believers to "resist the devil and he will flee from you." When the temptation and urge to do evil and violate the will and Word of God arises, don't do it. That's the devil!!! Get mean against the devil. You will need to talk to God a lot about those feelings and do not be ashamed to admit to Him exactly how you feel. He knows the truth anyway. And He WILL help you.

Have You Considered God's Servant, Jesus Christ?

Dear Reader:

It has been said that God created man in His own image and likeness, then men returned the favor. If you are familiar with the Old Testament story about Job in the Holy Bible, you may remember that the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord and Satan also came among them (into the presence of God!). The Lord confronted Satan and asked him, "Have you considered my servant Job?" Right?

Since we know by faith that no one and no thing or event exists, moves, or happens without God's knowledge of it, do you think the general mentality of humanity indicates the masses have failed to consider, observe, honor and/or give due regard, respect and reverence to God Almighty and the awesome power and presence of divinity among us?

I'm just asking...what do you think?
